Fit Club Season: May 29 – August 20

Mill River Park’s Fit Club is FREE for anyone, and everyone! Join us in the heart of Stamford for outdoor fitness classes on the Grand Steps. From Bolly Fit and Zumba to Tai Chi and more, there’s a class for you.

  • All participants must sign a waiver before exercising. Please check in with an Event Staff member prior to joining a class.

Join in for a breath-centered, rhythmic yoga practice that flows with sequences to stretch and strengthen the body, activate the core, and ignite your inner radiance. This moving meditation encourages body awareness, mindfulness, and relieves stress. Class is for all levels.

Sound Bath Meditation is an ancient practice designed to bring deep states of relaxation and meditation. LA Sound Bath is a deeply-immersive, full-body listening experience that intentionally uses sound to nurture your mind and body. Lisa Cooper of Harmonious Healing uses crystal tone bowls to create this unique experience.

Total Body Fit with UJ

Total Body Fit with UJ

May 31 – August 16 • Saturdays, 10 AM • Grand Steps

**July 12, 19 & 26 classes will be on the Carousel lawn**

UJ is a fitness trainer in Fairfield County. In this class, each participant will receive an education in strength building, calorie burning and muscle development/growth. This class will provide a high intensity setting with intent to improve, correct and re-educate all individuals, no matter their experience level in fitness or exercise.

An Open Level Power Vinyasa, which brings a fluid, powerful style of yoga that will focus and link your breath, intention and presence to build proper alignment, strength, stamina and focus. The intention is to empower you outside the class through the sequence of poses you flow through during the class.

Tai Chi is a mind, body spirit exercise using slowing flowing movements. It emphasizes deep breathing, balance and focused attention. We will be doing a series of gentle physical movements and stretches ensuring that your body is in constant motion...”moving meditation”. These postures will help promote the body’s natural healing ability and overall feeling of increased vitality as it balances the Qi or life energy.
