Celebrate the magic of autumn with Fall Sunday Fundays at the Whittingham Discovery Center in Mill River Park! This year’s theme, Hiking through Stories, invites families to explore the beauty of fall through books and hands-on creativity. From September 14 through November 17 (excluding October 19), join us every Sunday at 10 AM for a cozy morning filled with stories and activities designed to spark imagination and curiosity in young minds.

Whether your child loves books, art, or simply exploring new experiences, Sunday Fundays provide an enriching environment for all ages. As part of the program, families will enjoy a special reading of Fatima’s Great Outdoors by Ambreen Tariq. Inspired by the author’s own experiences, this heartwarming story follows a young girl and her immigrant family as they embark on their first camping trip. With themes of resilience, belonging, and the joys of connecting with nature, the book highlights how the outdoors can be both a place of adventure and comfort.
