Connecticut Ballet: Ballet Under the Stars

Connecticut Ballet brings its statewide Ballet Under the Stars performance to Mill River Park for the sixth year.

Narrated by Artistic Director Brett Raphael, this year’s program features a new theatrical work, My Country ‘Tis of Thee (tee hee), complete with giant puppets and an ironic take on our nation’s 250th birthday celebration. Additional performances include a duet set to the music of Keb’ Mo’, a tribute to renowned jazz pianist Erroll Garner, and Tryst, a sensual duet by guest choreographer James Sewell.

Admission is free, and donations are gratefully accepted in support of Connecticut Ballet, a Stamford-based organization celebrating over 45 years of bringing dance to communities across the state.
