Celebrate the arrival of spring with Spring Sunday Fundays at the Whittingham Discovery Center in Mill River Park. As the park comes alive with blooming flowers, budding trees, and warmer days, families are invited to gather for mornings filled with stories, creativity, and exploration.

From March 15 through May 10 (excluding Easter Sunday), join us every Sunday at 10 AM for engaging story time followed by hands-on activities inspired by the wonders of spring. Each week features a new book and creative project designed to spark curiosity about nature, imagination, and the changing season.

Starting off strong, this week we’ll be reading How Are You Peeling? by Saxton Freymann. Children will meet a cast of silly fruits and vegetables, each showing a different emotion. Kids will have a blast spotting the feelings and guessing what each character is experiencing, then bring the fun to life with a hands-on activity that lets them express their own emotions through art.
