Fall Sunday Fundays at Mill River Park – Stories & Activities for Families!
Celebrate the magic of autumn with Fall Sunday Fundays at the Whittingham Discovery Center in Mill River Park! This year’s theme, Hiking through Stories, invites families to explore the beauty of fall through books and hands-on creativity. From September 14 through November 17 (excluding October 19), join us every Sunday at 10 AM for a cozy morning filled with stories and activities designed to spark imagination and curiosity in young minds.
This family-friendly event is the perfect way to spend a crisp fall morning together. Whether your child loves books, art, or simply exploring new experiences, Sunday Fundays provide an enriching environment for all ages. Bring your family, make new friends, and create memories that last well beyond the season!
As part of the program, families will enjoy a special reading of Listen by Gabi Snyder. Though it may seem like an ordinary day at the park, this beautiful story invites children and families to slow down, tune in, and discover the sounds all around them—from the whisper of the wind through the trees to the laughter of friends nearby—reminding us that when we truly listen, we can find calm, connection, and wonder in every moment.
