CAROUSEL

Enjoy an afternoon of fun at our award-winning Brownstein/Selkowitz Carousel Pavilion! Take a ride on one of the David & Marian Nissen Carousel’s 30 handcrafted animals.

DISCOVERY CENTER

The Whittingham Discovery Center is the Park’s state-of-the-art visitor and environmental education center that provides visitors with a place to explore the wonders of nature in the middle of the city.

PLAYGROUND

The Mill River Park Playground was built in 2006 by 1,500 volunteers over 5 days. Now it is time for an upgrade to make the playground safer and accessible for all to enjoy!

FOUNTAIN

Enjoy watching the graceful arcing jets of water of our display fountain while lounging with a book on the lush Karp Family Great Lawn, surrounded by the scenic landscapes of the Park.

ICE RINK

In late fall and winter, the Cohen Display Fountain transforms into a 9,000 square-foot outdoor rink. The rink is open to the community seven days a week, mid-November through mid-March.

Bark Park

You and your canine companion can enjoy going off-leash once inside the Mill River Bark Park and your pooch will get some much-needed mental and physical exercise while playing on the agility course.

GREENWAY NORTH

Bikers and runners rejoice! The Greenway North is a lighted pedestrian path runs from central Mill River Park all the way to Scalzi Park, making for a perfect walk, run, or bike ride.

SNACK BOX

Get your snack fix during seasonal Park programming at the Snack Box, our concession stand serving a variety of light snacks, drinks, and desserts.

PLANT NURSERY

Our new Native Plant Nursery grows and sells culturally useful, locally native plants, and the profits from these sales support ongoing conservation work at the Park.

RIVERWALK

This new walking path provides a scenic stroll along the river from the central Mill River Park southward to Richmond Hill Ave. Enjoy the sounds of the river and take in the beauty of the native plantings.
