Liven up your Summer Saturdays with our family-friendly Fun Saturday Morning programs! Local performers will dazzle and entertain kids of all ages at the Brownstein/Selkowitz Carousel Pavilion. Register for our program below!

The Splendiferous Show: a 45-minute spectacular filled with circus acts of every variety! From juggling, to clowning, to high-flying aerial feats, you’ll be awestruck by our amazing cast of performers.
June 8 • 10 – 11 AM
Come dance, sing, laugh and just have fun with your kid(s)! Jumpin’ Jams is a Mill River Park’s Fun Saturday Morning fan favorite! It is is an interactive show with musical instruments, good music, dancing and good vibes out on the Carousel lawn.
June 15 • 10 – 11 AM
Get outside and dance! Explore the intersection of dance and sport with an upbeat dance workshop, where children (parents are welcome too!) will explore anatomy, strength training, teamwork and dance technique, with dance educator and teaching artist, Latoya Nickee.
June 22 • 10 – 11 AM
Children will create butterfly & pollinator puppets. They will find out why butterflies, dragonflies, ladybugs, hummingbirds and bees are so important to the earth on which we stand everyday.
June 29 • 10 – 11 AM
Come join us for an exciting and engaging morning where kids will have the opportunity to use legos, duplos, various blocks, playdoh and more to create and build!! The event will encourage curiosity, creativity, and fun. No experience necessary!
July 6 • 10 – 11 AM
Join us on the Carousel Lawn for fun with bubbles! The Carousel Pavilion will be open for rides and snacks as well!
July 13 • 10 – 11 AM
Check out how you can make a simple popsicle stick catapult with materials you already have at home. It’s a fun STEM project that you can do with your kids indoors on a rainy day!

This program provides a natural link between observational skills exercised in both science and art. Students will merge their observations from life experience and artwork seen in The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle about plant phases from seed to adult. July 27 • 10 – 11 AM
Participants will be building their own solar ovens, to gather the sun’s rays and cook a tasty treat- smores! We will provide the supplies and instruction. Cross our fingers and toes for a nice sunny day.
August 3 • 10 – 11 AM
Participants will learn about music and culture, and how it connects people! Musical influences include Harry Belafonte, Bob Marley, Calypso & Reggae.
