Celebrate the arrival of spring with Spring Sunday Fundays at the Whittingham Discovery Center in Mill River Park. As the park comes alive with blooming flowers, budding trees, and warmer days, families are invited to gather for mornings filled with stories, creativity, and exploration.

From March 15 through May 10 (excluding Easter Sunday), join us every Sunday at 10 AM for engaging story time followed by hands-on activities inspired by the wonders of spring. Each week features a new book and creative project designed to spark curiosity about nature, imagination, and the changing season.

This week’s read is The Great Eggscape by Jory John and Pete Oswald. Hear how the Good Egg and his friends hop out of their carton for a morning of silly fun, while Shel isn’t too thrilled about being “It” for hide-and-seek. Kids will laugh as the eggs dash, hide, and try to stay together in this funny, surprise-filled adventure. Plus, the sticker sheets let everyone decorate their own eggs and join in the egg-citement!
