Explore the natural world of adhesives, learning how to test the strength of adhesives and finding out where they exist in nature.
This lesson discusses some of the nature-based inspirations for human-made adhesives and explores the concept of adhesive strength. Students will design and engineer an experiment to test the adhesive strength of several natural and manufactured substances.
For grades 3-5. Saturday, June 25, 10:30 am – 11:30 am. Free, but limited room so registration is required!
