Programs for Daisies are 1.5 Hours Long

Eco Learner

Explore the wonders of nature at Mill River Park! Girl Scouts will learn how to protect the environment through a fun game! Afterwards, Daisies will discover native plants and animals on a hike through the park.

Trail Adventure (Year-Round)

Grab a pair of binoculars (we’ll provide them!) and hit the trails!  Daisies will play a fun game to learn about hiking essentials, and hike our beautiful meadows while enjoying a bird scavenger hunt! 

Snow or Climbing Adventure (Seasonal: Winter Only)

Join us for a winter adventure rooted in local history. Discover how the Stamford community turned winter into opportunity. Then lace up your skates and prepare for your ice skating adventure at the Cohen Skating Center!

Craft & Tinker (Year Round)

Explore the exciting world of STEAM while earning a badge at Mill River Park! Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to design, create and innovate one of two projects: the rubber band racer and 3D wonder kit. Your troop will work one-on-one with a Mill River Park educator to assist in production, design and clean up. All the tools and supplies needed to complete both projects will be provided – all you need to bring is your sense of creativity!
We also offer craft and tinker “badge in a box” kits for Daisies, Brownies and Juniors. Basic crafting tools are not provided in the take home option.
