Brownies
Programs for Brownies are 1.5 Hours Long
Bugs (Spring, Summer, Fall)
Brownies will have a blast “bee”-ing honorary entomologists! They will explore the amazing world of insects, design a bug best friend, and enjoy a hike with one of our insect enthusiasts!
Outdoor Adventurer (Year-Round)
Become a junior explorer and learn the essentials of hiking! Brownies will learn how to use and make a simple compass with one of our amazing educators. Girl Scouts can then show off their new skills on a scavenger hunt. Fun, fresh air, and adventure await around every turn!
Craft & Tinker (Year-Round)
Explore the exciting world of STEAM while earning a badge at Mill River Park! Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to design, create and innovate one of two projects: the rubber band racer and 3D wonder kit. Your troop will work one-on-one with a Mill River Park educator to assist in production, design and clean up. All the tools and supplies needed to complete both projects will be provided – all you need to bring is your sense of creativity!
We also offer craft and tinker “badge in a box” kits for Daisies, Brownies and Juniors. Basic crafting tools are not provided in the take home option.
