We will then hold our own Children’s business Fair where our campers will put their entrepreneur hats on and sell their goods to the community later on in the camp season.

River Critters

Mill River Park is home to many animals and this week is all about exploring their habitats, their behaviors, and other unique facts about them.

Junior Stewards

July 1st – July 5th
(No camp 4th of July)

Campers will learn about what it is to be good stewards of their environment and communities. Recycling, composting, and conservation are just a few things we will cover this week.

Water Waze

We are diving into a week about oceans, rivers and other bodies of water and how keeping these waterways clean are important specifically for the Long Island Sound.

This week is about winged animals and insects alike.  We will cover birding, pollinator explorations and the plants that rely on them.

Things are getting hairy! Join us as we explore the characteristics of mammals, identifying mammals, and more!

Kids vs Wild

Connecting people with nature is our mission, and this week we will focus on survival in the “wild.” Campers will learn about orienteering, fishing, hiking basics, and how to pitch tents.

It’s our final week of camp and we are going out with a bang! Each day will be filled with surprises as our fun-filled summer comes to a bittersweet end.
