Mill River Fit Club
Mill River Park’s Fit Club is FREE for anyone, and everyone! Join us from September through October in the heart of Stamford for outdoor fitness classes on the Grand Steps. From Bolly Fit and Zumba to Tai Chi and more, there’s a class for you.
- Registration is required, and all participants must sign a waiver before exercising. Please check in with an Event Staff member prior to joining a class.

Tai Chi w/ Ken at The Whittingham Discovery Center

Tai Chi is a mind, body spirit exercise using slowing flowing movements. It emphasizes deep breathing, balance and focused attention. We will be doing a series of gentle physical movements and stretches ensuring that your body is inconstant motion...”moving meditation”. These postures will help promote the body’s natural healing ability and overall feeling of increased vitality as it balances the Qi or life energy
