Mill River Fit Club

Mill River Park’s Fit Club is FREE for anyone, and everyone! Join us June through August in the heart of Stamford for outdoor fitness classes on the Grand Steps. From Rhythmic Yoga with live drumming and Zumba to Bootcamp and more, there’s a class for you.

  • No pre-registration is required, but all participants must sign a waiver before exercising. Please check in with an Event Staff member prior to joining a class

Tai Chi (with Ken)

Tai Chi is a mind, body spirit exercise using slowing flowing movements. It emphasizes deep breathing, balance and focused attention. We will be doing a series of gentle physical movements and stretches ensuring that your body is inconstant motion...”moving meditation”. These postures will help promote the body’s natural healing ability and overall feeling of increased vitality as it balances the Qi or life energy

Rhythmic Yoga w/live drumming (with Pilin Anice)

Join in for a breath-centered, rhythmic yoga practice that flows with sequences to stretch and strengthen the body, activate the core, and ignite your inner radiance. This moving meditation encourages body awareness, and mindfulness, and relieves stress. Class is for all levels.

Join Aimee Elsner and her Team at Connecticut Power Yoga for a Sunrise Morning Vinyasa yoga practice designed to empower you through movement, meditation, to connect you to your breath and your body. You will leave refreshed and ready for your day.

Pop-up Sundays: Reiki Circle w/ Lili and Daiana (of Body Therapy by Dai)

Lili Negrón is a certified Reiki Practitioner and Daiana Negrón is a certified Reiki Master who will facilitate the Reiki Circle. Participants do not need to be certified. Collective consciousness is powerful when energies are focused on a goal. We just ask that people send positive energy towards our community of friends or visualize our community being surrounded by healing energy. All energy is channeled through the Reiki Master who grounds and directs it. Concluding with a closing circle to release energy and transition slowly.
