DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the arrival of spring with Spring Sunday Fundays at the Whittingham Discovery Center in Mill River Park. As the park comes alive with blooming flowers\, budding trees\, and warmer days\, families are invited to gather for mornings filled with stories\, creativity\, and exploration. \nFrom March 15 through May 10 (excluding Easter Sunday)\, join us every Sunday at 10 AM for engaging story time followed by hands-on activities inspired by the wonders of spring. Each week features a new book and creative project designed to spark curiosity about nature\, imagination\, and the changing season. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis week features Snack Attack! by Terry Border. In this funny adventure\, three snacks\, a cookie\, a pretzel\, and a cheese doodle\, escape their packages and explore the kitchen. But when they discover a note saying snacks are waiting for the “Kid\,” they realize they might be in danger and come up with a clever plan to save themselves. With silly characters\, playful word jokes\, and a kitchen full of surprises\, this story turns ordinary snacks into heroes on a hilarious mission.
