COVID-19 Policy

Currently, MRPC policy on COVID has been to follow the guidelines of the City of Stamford and the State of Connecticut.  GIven our role in providing the public with children’s programming and camps, we also incorporate policies utilized by the CT Department of Education and the CT Office of Early Education and will defer to the most stringent policy.

MRPC maintains a policy that is:

  • Proactive
  • Based on data
  • In full compliance with the CDC, City of Stamford, DOE, EOC
  • Ensuring the safety of our park visitors and our team.

With the City of Stamford’s COVID-19 tracking updates and the CDC’s new updated risk map listing Fairfield County as “medium risk,” this means we are now suggesting all park-goers and staff to wear a mask when indoors.

Note that the Office of Early Childhood has not changed their mask mandate, which currently remains in effect through June 30. All staff working with children as part of our camp programming, etc, should continue to comply with these mask requirements. If you have any questions regarding our camp policies, please connect with Tiffany Wilson, Youth & Family Programs Manager, at tiffany@millriverpark.org
